| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Emperor Nero facing right, with a small globe at the point of the neck truncation, rendered in the robust portraiture style characteristic of his later reign. The effigy presents richly detailed hair arranged in the tiered fringe typical of Neronian coinage, with fleshy facial features and a strong profile.
