| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed, laureate bust of Nero facing left, with characteristic youthful features and layered curls rendered in fine relief. The emperor is depicted with a draped paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The surrounding legend reads NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P IMP P, distributed along the full circumference of the coin. The portrait displays the confident, idealized style characteristic of Neronian imperial coinage from the Rome mint. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents two standing female figures in a composition emblematic of imperial grain policy and divine sanction. At left, Annona, personification of the grain supply, stands facing right, raising her right hand and holding a cornucopia in her left; at right, Ceres, goddess of agriculture, is seated on a throne facing left, extending a grain stalk toward Annona and holding a torch in her left hand. Between the two figures, a modius (grain measure) rests on a low base or altar. The legend ANNONA AVGVSTI CERES is distributed across the upper field, with ANNONA to the left and CERES to the right, while the large senatorial authorization mark S C appears prominently in the lower exergue. The composition is rendered in bold, high relief typical of Neronian bronze coinage. |
