| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic short beard and curled hair in the Hellenistic tradition favored by the emperor. The portrait displays the mature, idealised physiognomy typical of Hadrianic imperial coinage struck at the Rome Mint circa AD 130. The circular legend surrounds the bust, reading from lower left to upper right across the field.
