| Obverse description | Laureate, cuirassed bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in high relief with the emperor's characteristic short beard and curly hair beneath the laurel wreath. The paludamentum is visible at the shoulder, with the cuirass details finely rendered in the Roman imperial tradition. The encircling legend occupies the outer field, reading from the lower left around the bust. The coin exhibits a rich green patina consistent with orichalcum coinage of the early Hadrianic period. |

| Reverse description | Jupiter seated left on a throne, draped, holding a small figure of Victory in his extended right hand and a long vertical sceptre in his left. The god is depicted in the classical Roman manner, with drapery falling over his lower body and legs, and the throne rendered with simple but authoritative lines. The reverse legend is distributed around the field, with SC (Senatus Consultum) prominently placed in the lower portion of the field, authorising the bronze coinage issue. The overall composition conveys the divine sanction of Hadrian's rule through the association with the supreme deity of the Roman pantheon. |
