| 裏面の説明 | The personification of Moneta stands facing left in full figure, draped in a long chiton and palla. She holds a pair of scales (libra) in her extended right hand and a cornucopia (cornu copiae) in her left arm, both attributes emblematic of fair measure and abundance associated with the imperial mint. The letters S C (Senatus Consultum) are prominently placed in the lower field to either side of the figure, denoting senatorial authority over bronze coinage. The encircling legend MONETA AVGVSTI runs around the periphery within a beaded border. The reverse type celebrates the integrity and prosperity of the Hadrianic monetary system. |
