The figure is rendered in the classical Roman allegorical style, with drapery falling in naturalistic folds. The legend IVSTITIA AVG P P COS III is distributed around the field, with the senatorial authority mark S C (Senatus Consultum) prominently placed in the lower field on either side of the throne. A beaded border surrounds the entire design.
