The FELICITAS types under Hadrian cluster around 128–130, coinciding with his return to Rome after nearly a decade of continuous travel through the provinces. The third consulship reference in the legend pins this issue tightly to that homecoming period, when the mint was actively commemorating imperial stability — a pointed message given how contested Trajan's succession had been just over a decade earlier.
RIC II.3 1288 reflects the revised Hadrian volume published in 2019, which substantially reclassified and renumbered the sestertius series from this reign.
