Obverse description Laureate and cuirassed bust of Hadrian facing right, viewed from the front, with the emperor depicted bearded in the early Hadrianic style. The paludamentum is visible at the left shoulder, draped over the cuirass. The finely rendered portrait features curly hair beneath the laurel wreath, characteristic of Hadrian's early coinage. The encircling Latin legend runs along the full circumference of the coin, framed by a beaded border.
