| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in fine relief with characteristic aged features including a prominent jaw and stern expression. The effigy displays a laurel wreath crown with detailed leaf work and ribbons visible at the nape of the neck. A light drapery falls over the left shoulder, consistent with imperial portrait convention of the Julio-Claudian transitional period.
