| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered in high relief in the Roman imperial portrait tradition. The effigy displays the aged, stern features characteristic of Galba's official portraiture, with a wreath of laurel encircling the head. The surrounding legend reads SER GALBA IMP CAES AVG, distributed around the bust within the field.
