Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Galba facing right, wearing an oak wreath (corona civica) over his aged, heavily featured portrait. The effigy displays Galba's characteristic physiognomy with pronounced chin and lined features rendered in high relief. The legend encircles the bust within a beaded border, reading SER GALBA IMP CAES AVG. The coin shows evidence of a post-antique suspension hole pierced through the upper field, consistent with its later use as a pendant or amulet.
