| Beschrijving keerzijde | Victory, a winged female figure, standing facing with head turned to the left. She holds a wreath in her extended right hand and a palm branch in her left hand, the standard attributes of this allegorical type. The legend S C appears in the field, divided to either side of the figure, indicating senatorial authorization for the bronze coinage. The composition follows the canonical Roman Victory type employed on imperial bronzes of the Julio-Claudian and early Flavian periods. |
