| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate bust of Emperor Galba facing right, depicted with characteristically aged features, draped at the shoulder. The imperial legend encircles the effigy in Latin capitals along the outer border, with beaded inner rim. The portrait conveys the rugged, elderly countenance typical of Galban coinage, rendered in the high-relief hammered style of late Julio-Claudian and early Flavian-era bronze issues. |
