| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate bust of Emperor Galba facing right, depicted with aged, naturalistic features characteristic of Julio-Claudian and Flavian portraiture. The emperor is shown with a paludamentum (military cloak) over the shoulder, rendered in moderate relief.
