| Obverse description | Bare-necked laureate bust of Emperor Galba facing right, rendered with strong portraiture characteristic of the Julio-Claudian tradition, depicting an elderly and heavyset physiognomy with pronounced facial features. The laureate wreath is rendered in fine detail with individual leaves and ties falling behind the neck. The effigy is set within a beaded border, with the imperial legend distributed around the periphery of the field.
