| Obverse lettering | IMP SER SVLP GALBA CAES AVG TR P (Translation: Imperator Servius Sulpicius Galba Caesar Augustus Tribunicia Potestate. Supreme commander (Imperator) Servius Sulpicius Galba, Caesar, emperor (Augustus), holder of tribunician power.) |
| Reverse description | The reverse displays the large senatorial authorisation mark S C (Senatus Consulto) prominently in the central field, rendered in bold capital letters of substantial size relative to the coin's flan. The monogram is enclosed within a circular exergual border, with the surrounding legend of Titus running along the outer periphery in two lines. The field is flat and largely unadorned, following standard Julio-Claudian and early Flavian sestertius convention for restored coinage. The legends attribute the restitution to Titus in his capacity as reigning emperor, dating the issue firmly to AD 80–81. |
