Obverse lettering NERO CLAVDIVS DRVSVS GERMANICVS IMP
(Translation: Nero Claudius Caesar Drusus Germanicus Imperator. Nero Claudius Drusus, conqueror of the Germans, supreme commander (Imperator).)
Reverse description The reverse field is dominated by the large senatorial mark of value S·C (Senatus Consulto), boldly struck in the center of the die, flanked by a separating dot. Above the S·C, the word REST (Restituit) is prominently inscribed in the upper field, indicating this is a restitution issue officially restoring an earlier Tiberian-era coinage. The surrounding circular legend, rendered in crisp capital letters, carries the full imperial titulature of Titus and runs continuously around the entire periphery. A beaded or toothed border frames the design. The composition is austere and formulaic, following established Flavian restitution sestertius convention.
