Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, with short curly hair and a broad, naturalistic portrait typical of Flavian imperial coinage. The emperor is depicted with a draped bust, the drapery visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads CAES DIVI AVG VESP F DOMITIAN COS VII, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits an irregular flan with a pierced hole near the top, a later modification indicating ancient or post-antique reuse as a pendant or amulet.
