(Translation: Imperator Caesar, Divi Vespasiani Filius, Domitianus, Augustus, Pontifex Maximus. Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, son of the divine Vespasianus, Domitian, emperor (Augustus), high priest.)
Reverse description Standing figure of Minerva, goddess of wisdom and war, depicted in full length facing right in the field. The goddess is shown helmeted and draped in a flowing chiton and aegis, raising her right arm as if in a martial gesture, with a spear held in her left hand and a small owl visible at her feet — her characteristic divine attribute. The large senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed flanking the figure in the left and right fields respectively. The reverse legend TR P COS VII DES VIII P P encircles the design within a beaded border, referencing Domitian's tribunician and consular titles. The composition reflects the strong Flavian association with Minerva, who served as Domitian's personal patron deity.
