Reverse description Domitian, togate, standing left on a raised tribunal platform (suggestum), extending his right hand in a gesture of liberality toward three citizen figures standing before him on the left; attendant figures are present behind the emperor on the platform. The scene commemorates the congiarium or stipendium distribution, a public donative ceremony. The senatorial authorization mark S·C (Senatus Consulto) appears prominently in the field, flanking the central composition. The reverse legend is inscribed along the upper border in capital Latin letters.
