Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, draped with aegis across the left shoulder, rendered in high relief with characteristic Flavian portraiture. The emperor's curly hair is rendered in fine detail beneath the laurel wreath, and the aegis with its serpentine border is visible at the truncation. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the obverse field, enumerating the emperor's full titulature including his consular and censorial offices.
