Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Domitian facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristic Flavian portraiture style. The effigy displays curly hair beneath the laurel wreath, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The encircling legend reads CAESAR AVG F DOMITIANVS COS VI, positioned around the periphery of the flan. The portrait exhibits the youthful features associated with Domitian's pre-accession coinage struck during the reign of his father Vespasian.
