背面描述	Domitian standing in military dress, facing left, holding a parazonium (short military sword) in his right hand and a spear in his left, projecting an image of martial authority. At his feet, the personification of the river Rhine (Rhenus) reclines to the left, depicted as a bearded male figure leaning on an urn from which water flows, a classic allegorical representation of a conquered or pacified river deity. The composition commemorates Domitian's Rhineland campaigns and the assertion of Roman dominance over the Germanic frontier. The senatorial mark S C (Senatus Consultum) appears prominently in the field, authorising the bronze coinage. A beaded border frames the entire reverse design.
