| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, draped with aegis on the left shoulder, rendered in high relief with characteristic Flavian portraiture. The emperor's effigy displays a broad neck and strong facial features typical of official Domitianic coinage. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the obverse field. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with hammered Roman sestertii of this period. |
