| Beschrijving keerzijde | A monumental triple-arched triumphal arch rendered in three-quarter perspective, depicted with columned facades flanking the central and side archways, all resting on a decorated podium with stepped bases at the corners. Atop the attic of the arch stands a quadriga driven by an auriga and drawn by two elephants facing left, a reference to Domitian's Dacian and German triumphs. The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) is prominently placed in large letters to the left and right of the monument in the open field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
