Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, rendered with characteristic Flavian portraiture style featuring curling hair beneath the laurel wreath and a strong, clean-shaven profile. The effigy is depicted with aegis or paludamentum visible at the shoulder truncation. The circular legend, rendered in crisp Latin capitals, runs along the outer border of the coin and identifies the emperor with his full titulature. The flan shows characteristic hammered irregularity, and the portrait displays the high-relief modeling typical of Domitianic sestertii struck at the Rome mint.
