| Reverse description | The reverse depicts a Secular Games (Ludi Saeculares) sacrificial scene set on a low ground line. At the left, two togate figures — likely priests or attendants — stand facing right; at centre, a youthful figure kneels or stoops before a tree or sacred object, reaching upward, while two additional draped figures stand to the right observing the ceremony. The scene commemorates Domitian's celebration of the Ludi Saeculares in AD 88, a pivotal state religious festival held every 110 years. The legend COS XIIII LVD SAEC FEC is distributed in the upper field, with S C (Senatus Consulto) visible in the lower exergual area, authorising the issue on behalf of the Senate.
