| 背面描述 | Domitia seated left on a throne or chair of state, draped in flowing robes, extending her right hand toward a small child or infant figure standing before her on the left, referencing her role as mother of the divine Caesar. The reverse legend arcs around the upper field, with the senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consulto) inscribed in the lower exergue below a ground line, all within a beaded border. |

Domitia received the title DIVI CAESARIS MATER — mother of the deified Caesar — following the death of her son, an infant born to her and Domitian who died in the early 80s AD. The child was posthumously deified, and Domitian leveraged that grief into a dynastic statement, placing Domitia's image on the bronze coinage in a way that echoed Augustan precedents for honoring imperial women through the death of their children. The title itself is unique in the imperial series; no other empress held precisely this form.
