| Описание аверса | Bare laureate head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style characteristic of early Julio-Claudian coinage. The legend encircles the effigy around the periphery of the flan, reading CAESAR PONT MAX. The portrait displays finely engraved hair with layered locks swept forward beneath the laurel wreath, and strong facial features consistent with official Augustan iconography. The flan is irregular and somewhat compact, typical of hammered bronze issues struck at the Lugdunum mint during the early Imperial period. |

| Описание реверса | The Altar of the Three Gauls (Ara trium Galliarum) at Lugdunum depicted in frontal view, its facade decorated with a corona civica flanked on either side by a nude male figure. The altar is surmounted by a central architectural feature, and atop tall columns flanking the structure stand winged Victories, each holding a laurel wreath aloft. The reverse legend ROM ET AVG appears prominently, dedicating the monument to Rome and Augustus. The composition is heraldic and symmetrical, reflecting the political and religious significance of the Lugdunum altar as the focal point of the imperial cult in the three Gallic provinces. |
