Beschrijving voorzijde Divus Augustus depicted seated left on a curule chair, his feet resting upon a low footstool, rendered in a dignified imperial style. The deified emperor wears a radiate crown, holds a patera in his extended right hand, and grasps a long vertical sceptre in his left. An altar appears to the left of the figure. The encircling legend names him as DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER, affirming his divine and paternal status within the Roman state religion.

Opschrift voorzijde DIVVS AVGVSTVS PATER
(Translation: Divus Augustus Pater. The divine emperor (Augustus), father [of the nation].)
Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse field is dominated by the large senatorial monogram S C (Senatus Consultum), struck with bold, deeply cut letters occupying the central portion of the flan. Above the S C, the abbreviation REST (Restituit) is prominently inscribed, signalling that this is a restored coinage issued under Titus. The full titulature of Titus encircles the field in a continuous legend running around the periphery, identifying him as emperor, son of the deified Vespasian, consul for the eighth time, and restorer of the coin type. The design reflects the Flavian dynastic programme of legitimisation through the deliberate revival of Augustan coinage types.
