| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Divus Augustus facing left, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and laurel wreath. The portrait displays the idealized classicizing style characteristic of Augustan coinage, with strong facial features and naturalistic modeling of the hair falling in layered locks.
