| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by the crowned Visconti biscione (a coiled serpent devouring a child), rendered in high relief within a beaded inner circle. The serpent's body is depicted with fine scale detail, surmounted by a prominent crown at top. The ducal initials flank the device to left and right in the field. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial characters runs along the outer border of the flan. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold cross pattée occupies the central field, its four arms expanding evenly toward the beaded inner circle that frames the design. The cross is well-struck with flat, squared terminals typical of Milanese hammered coinage of the early fifteenth century. The surrounding legend in Gothic uncial script is distributed across the four quadrants defined by the arms of the cross, running continuously along the outer rim of the flan. |
