Reverse description A plain Greek cross with broad arms occupies the central field, set within a double or beaded inner circle. The cross divides the field into four quadrants. A circular Latin legend reading MEDIOLANVM — the Latin toponym for Milan — surrounds the inner circle, with lettering distributed evenly around the periphery. The overall composition is typical of Visconti-era Milanese minor coinage, with the cross serving as both a devotional and heraldic symbol.
