Reverse description A thyrsus or caduceus-like staff depicted upright and centrally positioned in the field, with a stylized floral or foliate element at the apex. The staff is flanked on either side by uncertain subsidiary symbols, possibly branches or serpents, consistent with civic religious iconography of Bruttian coinage. A partial border or wreath segment frames the lower portion of the design. The reverse inscription VALENTIA appears around or adjacent to the central device, serving as the ethnic identifier of the issuing city of Vibo Valentia in Bruttium.
