Beschrijving voorzijde	Bare male bust facing left with flowing hair rendered in thick, stylized locks, identified as a deity — likely Melqart-Hercules — depicted in a Punic artistic tradition. A club or scepter is positioned vertically before the face, a characteristic attribute of the Heraclean iconography employed at Gadir. The portrait is rendered in low relief with broad, somewhat schematic facial features typical of late Punic bronze coinage. The field is plain, with no surrounding legend or border of dots visible on this issue.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Two tuna fish (thunnus thynnus) arranged horizontally and facing left, rendered in a stylized but naturalistic Punic manner, reflecting the importance of the tuna fishing industry to ancient Gades. A crescent and a pellet or dot appear between the heads of the fish, while a Punic letter alef (𐤀) is placed between their tails. A Punic inscription runs above and below the fish in the field, reading the mint name or civic legend of Gadir. The composition is well-balanced within the flan, consistent with the standard reverse type of Gadiric bronze semis coinage.
