Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Tiberius facing right, rendered in a provincial style characteristic of Hispanian municipal coinage. The effigy displays a wreath of laurel about the head, with facial features typical of Tiberian portraiture. The surrounding legend reads TI CAESAR AVGVSTI F, identifying the emperor as son of Augustus. The flan is irregular and the relief somewhat flat, consistent with hammered provincial bronze issues of the Julio-Claudian period.
