Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Nero facing left, rendered with characteristic youthful features including curly hair falling over the forehead and nape, a full neck, and slightly idealized portraiture typical of early Neronian coinage. The effigy is depicted with a draped shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The circular legend surrounds the portrait, reading NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GERM, incised in bold Roman capitals within the beaded border.
