| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic short beard in the Hellenistic philosophical style introduced by Hadrian. The portrait displays finely detailed hair with layered curls beneath the laurel wreath, and the drapery of the paludamentum is visible at the truncation of the shoulder. The encircling Latin legend reads HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. |
