The surrounding Latin legend names the duoviri quinquennales responsible for the issue, reading P TVRVLLIO V I N K II VIR QVINQ, distributed around the periphery. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered bronze coinage of the Augustan colonial series.
