| Reverse description | Central design features the legend REX PTOL inscribed within a circular wreath or ring motif, with a caduceus below, symbolising commerce and the authority of the local magistrates. The outer circular legend names the duoviri quinquennales responsible for the issue: C LAETILIVS APALVS II VQ, disposed around the periphery of the flan in Latin characters. The composition is typical of Hispano-Roman colonial bronzes of the Augustan period, with the magistrates' names serving as the principal reverse type alongside the reference to the Ptolemaic king whose allegiance to Rome is commemorated. |
