Obverse description Draped bust of Achilles facing right, wearing a Corinthian helmet pushed back on the head, with curling locks of hair visible beneath. The portrait is rendered in a provincial Hellenistic style with moderately detailed relief. A clockwise Greek legend runs around the periphery commencing from approximately 7 o'clock. The field shows typical surface characteristics of a hammered provincial bronze issue.
