附加信息	Qart Hadasht — the Punic name meaning "New City," applied to the Carthaginian foundation on the Spanish coast known to Romans as Carthago Nova — continued issuing bronze coinage under this name well into the period of Roman provincial reorganization. By the mid-first century BC the city was firmly within Roman administrative orbit, yet retained enough civic autonomy to strike its own fractional bronze, a privilege that Rome extended selectively and often withdrew without ceremony. ACIP 2531 places this semis within the final phase of the city's independent coinage before Carthago Nova transitioned fully into the Roman colonial mint framework under Augustus.
