The feathers of both wings are indicated by a series of deeply incised parallel lines, and the tail feathers are similarly treated. The design fills the flan with no legend or exergual inscription, the field remaining plain. The overall execution reflects the characteristically provincial Turdetanian die-engraving tradition of the mid to late Republican period. |
