Reverse description A standing eagle facing right, wings closed and tail feathers visible, rendered in a sturdy, stylized manner typical of Obulcan bronze coinage of the mid-Republican period. The bird occupies the central field of the flan, which is plain and devoid of border or legend. The design is boldly struck though the irregular flan results in some weakness at the edges. No inscription accompanies the type.
