Obverse description Facade of the Jerusalem Temple depicted in schematic form, with a tetrastyle portico framed by a beaded border. The entrance is flanked by columns with decorated capitals, and a showbread table (shulchan ha-lechem) is visible frontally within the central doorway. A star motif appears above the entrance, evoking the messianic symbolism of the revolt. The Hebrew legend 'ירושלם' (Jerusalem) is inscribed across the upper field and along the flanking sides of the temple facade.

Reverse description A lulav (palm branch bound with myrtle and willow) depicted upright in the centre of the field, with a yellow citron (etrog) positioned to the left, both ritual objects associated with the festival of Sukkot. The design is bold and schematic, consistent with the hammered coinage of the Bar Kokhba revolt. The Hebrew inscription 'שנת אחת לגאלת ישראל' (Year one of the redemption of Israel) encircles the central motif within a beaded border, invoking the religious and nationalistic aspirations of the revolt.
