Reverse description Central field displays a heraldic shield bearing four vertical pales (the arms of Aragon-Catalonia), with a smaller inset shield in the upper dexter canton referencing the town's local arms. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle, with a circular Latin legend and the mint date running between the inner and outer beaded borders. The irregular flan and crudely struck surfaces are characteristic of hammered municipal emergency coinage of the mid-seventeenth century.
