| 裏面の説明 | A bold lily cross (croix fleurdelisée) occupies the full field, its four arms each terminating in a stylised fleur-de-lis, consistent with the French-influenced heraldic tradition of the Trivulzio. A small quatrefoil rosette is placed at the central intersection of the cross arms. The Latin Christological legend, split into three acclamations, runs continuously around the coin within a beaded border, separated by small stops. The design is characteristic of the scudo del sole type inspired by French royal gold coinage of the late fifteenth century. |
