Obverse description The arms of Zürich — a per pale shield divided diagonally, the dexter half plain and the sinister half charged with ornamental scrollwork — are displayed prominently at center within a beaded inner circle, surmounted by a decorative crown. Two small heraldic ornaments flank the shield at left and right. The date 1725 and the patriotic legend PRO· PATRIA· appear in the field surrounding the shield, distributed within the beaded border.
