| 裏面の説明 | The reverse displays a central saltire (diagonal cross) enclosed within a square frame composed of beaded lines, with a pellet positioned in each of the four triangular compartments formed by the cross, and a central pellet at the intersection. The square frame itself is set within the round coin flan, with the corners of the square nearly touching the inner beaded border. Additional pellets and a small crescent or annulet motif appear below the square, and partial runic or debased Latin letter-forms are visible in the angles outside the square. The entire design is enclosed by a beaded outer border. The legend, reading [+ SΛI]VIΛOΔCITΔO in a mixture of Latin and pseudo-runic letterforms, surrounds the central motif and is associated with the moneyer name 'Saroaldo'. |
