Reverse description The reverse features an elaborate ornate architectural cartouche in high relief, enclosing the Mexican national coat of arms — an eagle perched on a cactus devouring a serpent — at its center. The cartouche is crowned with scrollwork and three small crowns, with decorative columns flanking the sides and scrolled foliate ornaments at the base. The Mexican Mint mark 'Mo' appears to the left of the central device.
